Lilith's New Skin

Hello everyone and welcome to our end of week devlog for Dead Heat!

This week we have made progress on Lilith's new skin. laying out the base of her body texture which will have more detail added in the very near future.

Like Sonja, Lilith's clothes will have added detail such as a back graphic and chest graphic that you can see the beginnings of here. The images will be reflective of her personality in the same way Sonja's clothing is. Her jacket has gone from a combat jacket style to a more traditional leather bikers jacket. As such, her back detail should represent her Thunderhead background.

Her face has seen some early detail added as well, her eyes were the most important detail to get right as they would be the most distinctive. They will be what the player will see first when looking at her and will be the biggest indicator that she is no longer human, other than the scars that will come soon.

We have fixed a long-standing issue with the apartment building, that being the nonsensical elevator placement, which we have replaced with an old industrial door hinting at the buildings time as a textile factory before being converted into an apartment block.

We are now working to finish up the game options including options for resolutions and control methods. The option for using a controller with relative movement is now ready. Tank control options and keyboard options for both will be coming very soon.

Thank you for reading our devlog! We will be writing these devlogs as often as we have made enough progress to fill them. So there will be some slow weeks where we are tackling a difficult mechanic. We will try and make more progress in other areas to keep the flow of development going so there will be a devlog every week.

We hope to see you next week!
